Alyssa Farah-Griffin slammed for ‘protecting’ Trump (Image: ABC)
The View’s most recent episode had fans fuming after co-host Alyssa Farah-Griffin defended one of Donald Trump’s most recent Truth Social posts referring to himself as king.
The backlash came after the panel of hosts were discussing the president’s recent announcement on his own social media platform, in which he shared he would be lifting congestion pricing in New York City.
The post read: “CONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD. Manhattan, and all of New York, is SAVED. LONG LIVE THE KING!”
As the rest of the panel was condemning his careless post which was not backed by any immediate law changes, Farah-Griffin made it clear she was on board with Trump’s plan.
“As a fact check, America does not have a king, Donald Trump is not a king…I am pro congestion pricing being gone,” she said matter-of-factly.

Fans stormed social media, with one claiming: “Alyssa never fails to protect her boo #TheView.”
“Alyssa is not the resident ‘set the record straighter’,” another chimed in on X.
A third fumed: “Alyssa, who exactly are you “fact checking”. #TheView”

This comes after yesterday’s episode saw Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett shut down Farah-Griffin’s right-leaning comments during her visit to the panel after made a suggestive comment.
Crockett quickly clapped back: “Just like the rest of the world, we’ve got a bit of whiplash…This is not even partisanship at this point, it’s incompetence…(Republicans) have a Trump trifecta, y’all better figure it out.”
